scifiland, we had to put together our own scifi show and in an effort to help boost Team Hero's points, I put together this idea. It is a spin-off to Dark Angel - well, a spin off of sorts. Not so sure if this is exactly right. It's the first time I've ever done something like this and it's a little out of my comfort zone so let me know what you think :D
Synopsis:
After the stand at Terminal City, the Transgenics began building a home for themselves in amongst the citizens of Seattle. Four months later, as emotions reach fever pitch and the outcry against Transgenics is at its peak, a message arrives via a newly arrived X5 from Colonel Donald Lydecker. He is sending ahead a notice of his arrival with important information which could turn the tide in the Transgenic/Familiar war. When he arrives, he gives Max an unassuming silver ring with runes engraved on the inside. This ring was created by Sandeman specifically for Max to help her understand her place in the war.
However when Max puts on the ring, a blue light seems to absorb her. Alec is the first to reach her and in an instant they both disappear. When the light fades, Alec and Max find themselves in what appears to be pre-pulse Seattle but newspapers show it is the current year. Confused and lost, Alec and Max must find a way to unravel the clues left behind by Sandeman and find a way back to TC before the Familiars strike.

Local town Sheriff of Nowra County, Abel is strong-willed and hard-headed. He has set morals and does what he believes is right, even if it requires him to break the law. A bachelor whose life is his job, he is initially reluctant to believe in Transgenics but after he is saved by Max, he does what he can to keep her name from official records and keep her under the radar. He views Max like a daughter and is suspicious of Alec's relationship with her. Abel does not know why Max is there but he is aware that she is special and is being hunted by a number of people.
An emerald-eyed beauty, her intentions are unclear as her morals are somewhat skewed. She proffers information to both humans and transgenics alike, for a cash reward, and has no problem with dealing with those who stand in her way. She has a reputation for being ruthless but there are stories around that suggest she may not be as cold-hearted as she appears. Alec has used her information on occasions and she remains a 'contact' of Alec's although she is distrusted by Max. She appears to have an infatuation for Alec and has tried on more than one occasion to seduce him.
Her history is mostly unknown. Before 2010, there is no record of her anywhere and after that she turned up in a lot of police records for minor misdemeanours. In 2018 she seemed to turn a corner and began to pursue a career in journalism. She became the face of many charitable campaigns but the 'crimes' she uncovered were mostly high profile people conveniently caught doing something wrong. She wears a silver cross around her neck which, when unsheathed, becomes a small silver dagger. Ashley also has a silver ring with a snake winding around itself with an apple in its mouth.
Hunter Morales is a chemist who was recruited by a government agency that he knew nothing about. Drawn into the world of genetics by the unexpected and gruesome death of his beloved wife, Madison, he meets Alec and Max when they rescue his sixteen year old daughter, Sara, after she is taken by a some agents trying to force him to work on an unknown project. Sara is his world and he has done all he can to give her a normal life despite trying to keep her under the radar. Hunter is very knowledgeable and has developed many contacts over the years, including Ashley Pearce, with whom he has a working relationship. He has recently begun doubting Ashley after discovering the Transgenic threat and realising that she knew more about it than she led him to believe.
Sara is the sixteen year old daughter of Hunter Morales. A gifted science major, Sara was kidnapped by agents who forced her to work on an unfinished formula of her father's. Eventually rescued by Max and Alec, she hasn't told anybody about the formula nor about the test subjects on whom the chemical was applied. The test was unsuccessful but Sara is adamant that she is going to discover the objective behind the plans of the agency her father works for and find a way to get them out from under their thumb. She has a crush on Alec and is willing to place her trust in him.
