I sat on this so I could formulate a reply that was worthy of the story but damn, ya know?
I'm aware that this and the Mack fic were out of your comfort zone, but dude! If this is what we get when we push you into things you're not quite comfortable with, we should do it more often!
First of all, awesome setting and set-up. Max is being broken (physically) and fighting like the kick-ass chick she is (defiant all the way!) and White seems to be volleying between admiration and frustration and pissed off. It's wonderful :)
He goes against everything to pull her out and flip things on their head and all but admitting he has uncontrollable/confusing feelings for her and acting on them. Niiiiiiiice. Dude, this is SO nice! Hee :) God, I've been playing with White a lot lately and this really feeds my muse. I think OneBadCat will thank you for that, too :D since we're both currently working on a Whax project.
Have I told you lately how much I adore you??????? *bows to your infinite greatness*
