OH man, face numbness is wicked weird! When I had surgery on my eyes, they gave me local anesthesia and for weeks afterwards my nose and top lip were partially numb (nose was definitely numb. You try having a cold when you can barely tell your nose is dripping... it's embarrassing to say the least! And I only felt the soreness of tissue burn once the feeling came back into my face and can I say OWWW!?)
Good luck getting the RCT done. Dental work is so freaking expensive, it's not funny.
Glad they caught the problem early though, even if it does mean pain and temporary fixes in the meantime. *hugs* Hope it's all sorted out soon.
