Ooh that sucks! I've just finished having a root canal done on a rear molar. I had an abscess D: I needed a filling years ago but couldn't afford it then so put it off. This year the pain became too unbearable and I had to bite the bullet - no pun intended ;) - and get it done. I love my dentist and I've been to him since I was 4. I'm his longest serving patient :D Lucky for me I get mates rates but it still cost me a small fortune :/ I think the original quote was $1900 all up and he knocked off like $650 or something? Plus insurance rebate (not that it's much mindyou). Dental is such a rip though and it's BS we can't claim any of it on Medicare. Good luck with your tooth though!
