Definitely a win- you got the colors right and everything. :)
Well, wood elves aren't born with tattoos- I'd imagine they get them at about the time they're almost adults and needing them for camouflage when they're out scouting or hunting in the woods (as kids they probably play around with paints made from berries or something, lol). I didn't get into that in the story, though, since Meren was already well into her teens when the story started. So no worries! It really does look perfect! My artist did the tattoos differently than I'd imagined, but yours are actually right on- I always pictured them trailing on a wood elf's body in delicate tendrils with lots of leaves, whereas jack_spire drew them more as a thick ... vine, I guess I'd call it?
