Another challenge submission and this one is a TV show too. Coming up with a scifi show was considerably harder than coming up with a show featuring the Winchesters and Summers' :P I just may turn this into a fic but it will depend on how many people wanna see it as one. As much as I'm sure I'll love to, I just don't think it's a good idea to write a long fic for only a couple of people - especially not with all of the challenges I have coming up. Anyway, this is a challenge for
xoverland for Team Dawn! GO TEAM!!!! :D

When that is no longer possible, Dawn readily agrees to an alliance and even tries to broker peace between them so that they can work effectively. Unbeknownst to Dean and Buffy, Dawn begins working with Sam on a way to get Dean out of his deal without losing Sam but is it even possible? And if it is, what will it cost?

Okay, there's a ton of BtVS/SPN communities out there. Basically you could throw a rock and hit a mountain of them. It's pretty much the same as Dean/Buffy ones, or at least ones that accept Dean/Buffy. There's no way that this is a comprehensive list of them, in fact I don't know if that could be done, but here is just a few that accept BtVS/SPN, Dean/Buffy or Sam/Dawn or a combination of them.

THE SUM OF US

Set after 'Chosen' (7x22 BtVS) and 'Fresh Blood' (3x07 SPN).
After setting up the school for the newly called Slayers, Buffy heads off in search of any others that have fallen through the cracks like she did. Seeing a way to experience more out of life, Dawn joins her and the two begin a journey that will bring more discoveries to light than any other. Buffy, travelling mostly on gut, takes them to several locations where, more often than not, there is something evil that needs to be destroyed. When they travel through a small town called Tabulam however, something about the dreary town sets off all kinds of alarms and they stay to investigate.
After the last encounter with Gordon, Dean and Sam are determined to stay somehwat off grid and are laying low, taking cases that will draw little attention in the Supernatural community. After reading reports of a woman seeing her dead husband alive again, Dean and Sam head off to a small town called Tabulam to check it out. What they find are several reports of people seeing deceased relatives walking out from the cemetery and disappearing sortly after. Trying to find a connection, they run into two sisters new to the town: Buffy and Dawn Summers. Getting the feeling that they are hiding something, they tail them only to discover that they are all working on the same team.
They must work together to save not only themselves but an entire town and the world from an unspeakable foe.

Having traded his life in for his brother's, Dean is living on mere months as time ticks slowly down. He's aiming to kill as many bad things as possible whilst trying to pass on everything he knows to Sam so that he can protect himself. He is initially wary of the Summers women and takes much longer to convince than Sam does - partially because he is trying to protect Sam while he still can and partially because he feels something for the eldest one beyond mere attraction. Deciding that a relationship with her would be unfair to both of them, Dean deals with his emotions by being short and abrupt with her which only causes friction in their small group. It's a conversation with Dawn which pulls him up and forces him to re-evaluate his approach. But is the damage already done?

Having pushed aside any hurt over Dean's decision to bring him back, Sam is determined to find a way to save his brother. When he discovers the Slayer, he initially befriends her hoping to use her to save Dean, however reluctant he may be. But his friendship with her sister changes things and although he still wants to save Dean, he'd rather work with them than take advantage of them. With Dean being unusually hostile toward Buffy and the dead rising around them, Sam has more than enough things to worry about. But will an alliance with the Slayer and the Key mean more than just saving the world?

Initially travelling to find any Slayers who have been called but haven't been found, she soon discovered that she could help those that weren't near the Hellmouth in CLeveland. Buffy begins talks with the new Council to discuss postings for Slayers within the communities to help out when she stops in a town which sets off her 'spidey-sense' and she and Dawn stay to find out what it is. When the Winchester brothers come breezing into town, Buffy recognizes them as Hunters and tries to stay clear but having already popped up on their radar, she has no choice but to work with them. Whilst relations between her sister and Sam seem to be going well, things between her and Dean are icy at best and she has to find a way to get him past whatever the problem is so that they can work effectively together.

Dawn has been travelling with her sister and loving the relative freedom it brings when they come across the Winchesters. Faith Lehane
Despite her reluctance to take on more responsibility after the fiasco with The First, Buffy leaves her in charge of the school with reassurances that she will be fine. Five years later and the job surprisingly fits her like a glove. She trains the Slayers and Buffy sends any new ones her way. When Buffy and Dawn start taking jobs of helping people along the way, a part of her wishes for the freedom again. A call comes through about a possible apocalypse and as more information slowly streams in, Faith begins wondering if she's done enough to protect her Slayers from death when they go into to stop an apocalpyse that is looking more and more likely.

Willow Rosenberg
Currently in Thailand, Willow is tracking down some of her sources when Faith calls her with news of an almost certain apocalypse. Willow immediately begins rounding up others that can help, using her resources on a global level including some old faces. With vampires, werewolves and soldiers uniting with her, will they get there in time to stop the apocalypse? And if they do, will it be enough?

Xander Harris
Having adjusted to life within the new Council, Xander is the first to receive information about an apocalypse back home. Thinking that information is what is needed, he goes to work and tries to determine the exact details so that they have the best chance of winning. But he is needed there. Thousands of kilometres have separated him from painful memories and enabled him to heal but will all of those healing wounds be torn apart as he faces another apocalypse or will he be able to stand and fight alongside those who have stood and fought with him for so many years.

Rupert Giles
After the closure of the Sunnydale Hellmouth, Giles and Xander headed to England to reestablish the Council and aid the newly activated Slayers with whatever resources are necessary. Whilst things between his Slayer and himself are civil once more, they are still cool so he is surprised when he receives a call from Buffy asking for his help. Torn between his duty as the leader of the newly formed Council and the Slayer he raised, Giles must decide where his expertise is best needed in an apocalypse and keep the tentative relationship with the woman he sees as a daughter.

Bobby Singer
He'd heard of the Slayer but had known her as a fable. A few years ago he'd heard word from a Hunter about a major disturbance surrounding the destruction of a small town that had had world-wide repercussions but news of girls with unusual strength and speed had been passed off as nothing more than overactive imaginations, especially when all evidence disappeared soon afterwards. When Dean and Sam call asking about any information he has about a woman with speed and skills unseen by them before, Bobby is willing to put stock in it and gives them information of the Slayer. A final message is received from them regarding an apocalypse before silence and Bobby packs his stuff and heads for their last known location. Will he be in time to save them or is he too late?

Bela Talbot
Though not being on the best of terms with the Winchesters, Bela hears through the grapevine that something big is going down and that they are at the centre of it. Her newest aquired piece was destined for a buyer in Hong Kong who was going to pay a large sum for it but Bela's research suggested that it could be the one thing that could turn the tide of the apocalypse that's beginning and she must decide which side she is going to fight on.
