Update

This is Matt, Skye's husband. As you all know, Skye suffers from severe post natal depression. It took us a while to find some meds that were actually working and after a trip to her mother's (so that she and i could have a break and get some help with our girls) she seemed to be getting better. The last couple of weeks have been a little touch and go with Skye having a lot more bad days than good and given her current state, i'd say she has relapsed again. I'm hoping that it doesn't last too long and with help from her psychiatrist and doctors she should be better soon. But i know that she loves doing the art and stories and more importantly she loves the friendships she has made here and would want me to let you know how she is doing. I know she has dropped the amount of things she has been working on recently but there are still things she was doing and if you let me know what they were, i can post them when i find them. One of the most recent things i know she was doing is this wallpaper because she was using it as her background and i can't see it already posted. I'm hoping that she will be up and about again soon and i'll do my best to keep you updated until then. If you need to contact me, you can either leave a message here or email me.

Hi Matt,

thank you very much for keeping us updated, it's always worrisome not hearing from people for a while. It's really good to know that Skye has someone like you at her side that is helping her through the rough times and cares about her this much. I know that very often people not involved in fandom see our investment in it as kind of nuts, so it's great to see how you accept all of the things that Skye loves.

Please tell Skye that we miss her and that we wish her all the best. Our love and support is with all of you.

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry to hear about Skye's relapse. I hope things get better for her - and you all - very soon. Hug the girls from their (as yet unknown to them) 'Auntie Shay' and keep strong and positive. I'll be thinking of and praying for a full and easy recovery.

Hi Matt,

Please let Skye know that she's in my thoughts, and that she has all my love. It's sad to hear that she's relapsed, but encouraging to know that she has a strong support system there to help catch her. She's incredibly lucky to have her in her life, and I hope you and the girls are doing well given the circumstances. Let me know if there's anything I could do for Skye to help her.

Her getting better is more important than anything else right now. We all love her and as many of us are mothers, we more than understand the devestating effects of post-partum depression... It's horrible and leaves you feeling so helpless and overwhelmed, you can't function.

Again, we;re all here if she needs anything!
